Power Trios - PRIMUS

Otra banda genial, 3 excelentes exponentes, Les Claypool un genio en el bajo, el cual después de su frustrada audición para Metallica se volcó a lo suyo y formo Primus, este prácticamente creo un estilo, porque que podemos decir de Primus, simplemente suena como Primus, y no hay mas. Después nos topamos con Larry Lalonde, del Thrash metal de Possessed, paso a esta banda que quizás potencio su estilo, y desarrollo más su técnica exquisita. El 3er y ultimo miembro, el único que ha cambiado durante todo este tiempo, hay rotado 3 baterías, pero para mi el mejor fue y será Tim "Herb" Alexander, un mounstro en batería, el cual estuvo mayor tiempo en la formación, y del cual podemos encontrar grandes registros con la banda.
De este TRIO los dejo con uno de mis favoritos de Primus, del Tales from the Punchbowl.

Primus - WYNONA'S BIG BROWN BEAVER

Wynona's got herself a big brown beaver
and she shows it off to all her friends.
One day, you know, that beaver tried to leave her,
So she caged him up with cyclone fence.
Along came Lou with the old baboon
And said "Recognize that smell?"
"Smells like seven layers,
That beaver eats Taco Bell."
Now Rex he was a Texan out of New Orleans
And he travelled with the carnival shows.
He ran bumper cars, sucked cheap cigars
And he candied up his nose.
He got wind of the big brown beaver
So he though he'd take himself a peek,
But the beaver was quick
And grabbed him by the kiwis.
Now he ain't pissed for a week.
(And a half!)
Now Wynona took her big brown beaver,
And she stuck him up in the air.
Said "I sure do love this big brown beaver
And I wish I did have a pair."
Now the beaver onces slept for seven days
And it gave us all an awful fright.
So I tickled his chin and I gave him a pinch
And the bastard tried to bite me.
Wynona loved her big brown beaver
And she stroked him all the time.
She pricked her finger one day and it
Occurred to her she might have a porcupine.

Power Trios - RUSH

Si DIO es gran, nos visitan este año, este trío Canadiense hace ruido desde sus inicios, no se entiende, como estos 3 individuos, puedan hacer tanta magia sobre el escenario, la cosa es que ya van para los 40 años en la carretera, y nos siguen impresionando con sus genialidades, quizás no como antes, ya que todos añoramos un disco de Rush como en su primera época, pero también hay que comprender que el sonido ha evolucionado y se ha ido adaptando a los nuevos tiempos.

Siempre tres, nada mas que tres, el nuevo integrante lleva mas de 30 años en la banda.

Aquí una de sus joyitas, un instrumental de aquellos.

Rush - LA VILLA STRANGIATO

Dire Straits ...

Banda Inglesa que nos deleito con grandes existo como Sultans of Swings, Money for Nothing, Walk of Life, fueron alguno de entre muchos mas, su álbum Brothers in Arms fue su álbum mas vendido, un sonido particular casi unico, con un Mark Knopfler inspiradísimo, Rock y Blues conjugados a la perfección por esta banda.

Por ahora los dejo con un favorito mío, no tan comercial como los antes nombrado, un tema digno de una banda sonora.
